Mace Air Conditioning, Heating, & Refrigeration, was established in 1974 by the Mace family. Mace was incorporated in California in 1985, with Clarence W. Mace as its President and Treasurer, and his son, Richard Mace Sr., as its Vice-President. Current President of the company is Richard Mace Sr. Mr. Mace established his position as the current President in 2000, and has been in the air conditioning and heating business since 1978.

Over the past 38 years, Mace has serviced thousands of residential and light commercial customers throughout Southern California. Mace was also one of the first companies to make the switch to the new environmentally friendly refrigerant, R-410a, long before it was manditory, back in 1996. As part of our code of ethics, and our commitment to our environment, we will always dedicate efforts to preserving our natural resources, as well as engage in prudent energy usage through professional preventative maintenance and the installation of new high efficiency equipment.
